Before you remove a tracker…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Make sure to transfer the data saved on the old tracker, unless you have it saved somewhere else. The bike information and pictures must manually be added again from the app. When you remove a tracker, all the tracker’s information will be removed in the process. 

Be aware that our services do not work as a back-up system. As a general rule we therefore advise you to save documentation and pictures elsewhere than in the BikeFinder application only. We do not stand responsible for lost documentation or pictures manually added or removed by customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to remove a tracker from the app?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


1.<\/strong>\u00a0Navigate to the first side of the app (login if needed) and select your tracker <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.<\/strong>\u00a0Swipe up your tracker menu to get the full-screen overview of your tracker and at the bottom you will see a button ”Remove Tracker”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is done! Your old tracker is no longer linked to your account, nor BikeFinder application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does the tracker have a new owner?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After successfully removing the tracker, the new owner can begin setting up their tracker with their own BikeFinder account (How to get started<\/strong><\/a>). 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: You cannot transfer a subscription to another user since the new user must be registered as the insurance owner. <\/em>This means you would be responsible for handling the upcoming theft with the insurance company, police report, and monthly payment for the new user.
