The Norwegian tech company BikeFinder, a leading manufacturer of tracking devices, is announcing the official launch of their latest innovation, BikeFinder Gen2, in the Norwegian and Swedish market. Introduced through their OEM portfolio, the anticipated Gen2 Tracker is now also officially available for retail in Norway and Sweden.

New to market technology
The state-of-the-art tracking device uses GPS, WiFi, BLE, LPWAN and NB IoT signal technologies to enhance tracking accuracy and ensure optimal signal coverage. The unique combination of these technologies with BikeFinder triangulation solution is a new-to-market technology and a milestone in bike security. As such, BikeFinder remains the world’s smallest multi-technology tracker.
One of the key features of the BikeFinder tracker is its long battery life which makes it compatible with both e-bikes and traditional bikes. The battery can last from 2 to 8 weeks, highly dependent on the bike usage and tracker mode. It can easily be charged when mounted inside the handlebar, even when riding the bike. A new feature of the BikeFinder Gen2 is its ability to be integrated with the e-bike battery by a bike mechanics or in a bicycle production line by the manufacturer. This eliminates the need to charge the BikeFinder tracker separately.
The BikeFinder Gen2 continues to use the same antenna technology that set the industry gold standard since its launch in 2019.

The hardware is designed with an expansion mechanism that securely hides and locks the tracker inside the handlebar. BikeFinder can be mounted on a bike in just a few minutes, making setup quick and easy for everyone. Paired with an intuitive app designed for optimal user experience, BikeFinder ensures seamless integration and ease of use. Designed for all types of bicycles, the tracker is available both as a retail product and in an OEM version for pre-installation by bike manufacturers.
