Transferring subscriptions between trackers
How to manage subscriptions with the app?
You can open the subscription manager by pressing the credit card icon in the BikeFinder application.
From this menu, you can link and unlink subscriptions.
Do you struggle managing subscription(s) between trackers?
Please provide us with the IMEI number of the trackers you wish to transfer subscriptions between.
Transferring a subscription to another user/new owner?
You cannot transfer a subscription to another user, as the new user must be registered as the insurance owner.
This mean you then will be responsible for handling the theft with the insurance company, police report, and monthly payment for the new user. Therefore we recommend you to cancel the subscription and inform the new owner to buy a new subscription through our website.
Want to remove a tracker completely?
This is typical when you are going to replace an old tracker. Your subscription will automatically link itself to your new, active tracker as long as you have removed the old tracker first.
Please read this article guide: Removing a tracker
Why you as a customer need a subscription?
• The subscription is needed to cover the monthly cellular data cost.
• The tracker use cellular data, the same way as a smartphone, in order to send signals.
• The tracker does not use a lot of data, which is the reason why we can keep prices as low as today.
• The costs are only enough for us to cover taxes, payment processing fees and R&D/future development.
An active subscription is vital for the tracker to function, aswell as the insurance to be valid (if applicable).
