How does the movement sensor work?
Movement sensor explained
The Bikefinder tracker is equipped with a movement sensor. The sensor sends positions when movement is detected. To save battery, the tracker has sleeping cycles while it is waiting for another movement.
The movement sensor is measuring all movements on your bike.
Note that if the bike is put in a place with strong wind, or for example on a bike rack where other people are parking their bikes, you may get some false alarms.
If someone is moving your bike, or trying to steal your bike, you have the option to get notifications in the BikeFinder application. ➣ How-to enable notifications
